In Cincinnati, a man is dead after being shot multiple times in a car outside a downtown bar.
The victim is a 34-year-old man. The victim’s name was found to be Justin Johnson. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot 20+ times. Johnson was found in a black BMW on Oct. 17, 2025. He was found, as the police said, “slumped over in his car.” Johnson was found in his BMW along Sycamore Street. Johnson was hit multiple times. 50-year-old Robert Shaw is being charged with the murder of Johnson. Shaw was later arraigned on Oct. 25, 2025, and was set with a two-million-dollar bond.
Locals and officials don’t think it was a targeted shooting Cincinnati FOP president Ken Kober reported back from the scene saying, “anyone could have caught one of those bullets.” Sue Gitmore, a Cincinnati resident says, “It needs to be a safe place, and this after-dark thing, it’s serious.” At the time this was the third death this week in Cincinnati. The incident adds to a high-profile violent act seen in the city’s downtown center. Bike patrols are arranging to address the problem with the high gun violence.
