Three different fast food restaurants are reported to be shut down, or entering different states/locations. Pennsylvania is getting their third Raising Cane’s on Route 30 in place of the Lyndon Diner. While In-N-Out is opening in four different states known as; Las Vegas, Tennessee, Utah, and Washington.
Plans for proposed Raising Cane’s on Route 30 are going to be reviewed on Tuesday, April 14th, by the West Manchester Township Planning Commission. If the plan is accepted the Lyndon Diner at 1353 Kenneth Road will be demolished and rebuilt as a Raising Cane’s Restaurant. The eatery started in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996.
Hardee’s, a well known national fast food restaurant chain is closing down two restaurant locations in York County. Earlier this week, a spokesperson confirmed with abc27 News that they are shutting down both locations with no plans to reopen them. Hardee’s in Dallastown was closed last week with the one in York being closed at the end of the month. Hardee’s mentioned in an email,”These decisions were not made lightly, and we have valued the opportunity to serve these communities over the years,”. Spokesperson adds there are currently no plans for any additional Hardee’s in the area.
A very popular burger chain is continuing its steady expansion with four new stores across four states. In-N-Out has grown out of California and opened stores in other states like Colorado, Texas, Idaho, and as far east as Tennessee. The company also announced its intention to open a store in New Mexico by 2027. After they opened their first 3 stores in Tennessee it is also opening a second headquarters.
All stores continue to grow with their own business and open places in new states. The people are wishing for Hardee’s to stay around and demanding more stores of all food places mentioned in their states.
