Todd Emig is a veteran. Todd was enlisted for 5 ½ years. The main job Todd did while he was deployed was a tank crewman. As a tank crewman, his role was to protect the DMZ. One of Todd’s biggest challenges that he faced was spending a year in Korea. But Todd expressed that having a good mindset, and knowing and accepting that you have to be there, kept him going. When I asked Todd if he thought joining the military is a good idea nowadays, he told me that he does think it is a good idea because it shows a person how to have respect and responsibility.
