ABC 6 News reported a man was stabbed with a samurai sword in Pennsylvania during a home invasion attempt.
On Sept. 16, suspect Marcus Armstrong, 35, attempted to rob a man at gunpoint. This took place around 8:45am at a home in Norristown. A female managed to escape, but then Armstrong forced his way into the home but was approached by a male roommate who had a samurai sword. Det. Josh Samuels stated, “He had the samurai sword and took a swipe at the suspect.” “It’s a good idea to be aware of your surroundings, and if you feel something is off,” Det. Stephen Sowell said. Both detectives are with the Norristown police department. Police did confirm Armstrong’s gun was fake. Armstrong was taken to a hospital as the investigation continues. Armstrong facing charges of robbery and burglary.
