On April 13th, 2026, AEW Dynasty went down with some unexpected winners. The show opened with tag team action. The match consisted of the Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) vs the Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita). The Young Bucks beat the Don Callis Family within 20 minutes and Konosuke left Kazuchika in the ring for the Bucks to win. The 2nd match of the night was a singles match between Chris Jericho and Ricochet. The match went for 19 minutes when Ricochet beat the odds and defeated Jericho clean. The 3rd match of the night was another singles match between Andrade El Idolo and Darby Allin, if Darby won then he would get a AEW world title shot. Within 16 minutes, Darby beat Andrade and they shook hands after the match. The 4th match of the night was an AEW World Tag Title match. The champions were FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) and the challengers were Adam Copeland & Christian Cage. The match went for exactly 21 minutes and FTR beat Cage and Cope clean and kept their tag titles, this was very unfortunate considering Cope is retiring later this year. The 5th match was a Casino Gauntlet match for the Vacant AEW TNT Championship. The match had 10 competitors and the match went for 22 minutes when Kevin Knight got the pin on Daniel Garcia to win the TNT Championship. The 6th match was an AEW Women’s World Title match with the champion being Thekla and the challenger being Jamie Hayter. The match went for 16 minutes when Thekla cheated by holding onto the ropes while pinning Jamie. The 7th match of the night was for the AEW Continental Championship. The champion was Jon Moxley and the challenger was Will Ospreay. This match was a very long awaited match because Moxley took Ospreay out of action in the summer of last year. The match went for 18 minutes when Moxley beat Ospreay clean to retain. The 8th match of the night was an AEW World Trios title match. The champions were The Dogs (Clark Connors, David Finlay & Gabe Kidd) and the challengers were The Conglomeration (Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Orange Cassidy). The match went for 10 minutes exactly when the Conglomeration won the trios titles clean, unfortunately Gabe Kidd also suffered a wrist injury during the match. The main event of the night was for the AEW World Title. The champion was MJF and the challenge was Kenny Omega. The amazing match went on for 40 minutes and ended with MJF beating the best bout machine, Kenny Omega. Now, Darby Allin will face MJF in the near future for the AEW World Championship.
