The Seattle Seahawks took home the win against the New England Patriots on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California for their final game of the season, determining who will be the 2026 Superbowl champions. Leading up to the game the Seahawks had 14 wins and 3 losses. While the Patriots also had the same 14 – 3 ratio. By the first quarter the Seahawks were already ahead by 3 points when Jason Myers, a professional play kicker, made a 33 yard field goal. During the 2nd quarter the Seahawks continued to extend their lead. Jason Myers converted 2 field goals with one following a 55 yard drive leading them to be ahead 9 – 0. In the third quarter, the Seahawks defense only kept getting better, stopping the Patriots from being able to score. The Seahawks still being in the lead by a lot and everyone waiting for the Patriots to make a score. By the last quarter of the game the Patriots scored when player Drake Maye threw a 35-yard touchdown to Rhamondre Stevenson. Making the score 19 to 7. Seahawks taking home the win in a major lead. Even though the Superbowl was interesting this year, the half time show had even more controversy. Bad bunny performed his songs “Titi Me Pregunto”, “Safaera”, and other leading songs. There was a lot of controversy and disagreement mainly because he sings in Spanish because of his Puerto Rican culture and Latin music. There was actually a second half time show called “All- American Halftime show” that streamed on sites called YouTube and Rumble. The show drew approximately 6.1 million viewers just on YouTube alone. While the average number of viewers for the real halftime show still had about 128.2 million viewers. Overall, the 2026 Superbowl caused a lot of controversy between the Patriots not scoring until later in the game to Bad Bunny’s Superbowl halftime performance.
