Michigan state football coach Sherrone Moore fired after having an affair with another Michigan state staff member and is now in custody for 3 different charges.
Sherrone Moore is in custody and is a suspect in alleged assault and he was a part of a felony home invasion and stalking. Moore “barged” his way into the apartment of a woman who he was having an affair with and threatened to kill himself after she had told on him to the university. The stated he said “I’m going to kill myself, I’m going to make you watch, my blood is on your hands. You’ve ruined my life” Kati Rezmierski, a first assistant prosecutor said “she was terrorized”. Kati also states that “he had been having an affair for a number of years before she ended the. Relationship”. Not much longer after losing his job he stormed into the woman’s apartment, grabbed several butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and began threatening his own life in front of the woman. Moore tried to plea not-guilty and he was released after meeting the $25,000 bond. Moore didn’t say much of anything in court besides acknowledging the fact he must have no contact with the woman, along with other conditions. Moore was taken for a mental evaluation, must wear a GPS tracker, not leave the state, and abstain from alcohol. Moore signed a five year contract with the university last year, the university will no longer be paying out the remaining of the 4 years on the contract.
