Bowling Green football might have a new mascot. Pudge the Cat is a three-year-old Persian cat who lives with the team. Pudge’s owner is George Carlson, the long snapper for the team. George Carlson said, “People just absolutely love him.” They started posting TikToks of him on Sept. 17, 2025. They loved Pudge so much that they added him to NCAA26. People love this cat even when it’s an away game other teams set up spots for the cat and give him treats. He has his very own locker for before games and practices. The only reason this cat isn’t the official mascot is because there are already two mascots Freddie and Freida the falcons. The Bowling Green Falcons have had 2 wins and 2 losses since they brought Pudge the cat to the locker room.
