The two teens killed in Schuylkill County were Hunter Mock, 18 and Angelito Caraballo, 16. They were found a mile east of route 209 in a wooded area on Ferndale road. Their body’s were found on Tuesday, October 10th at 3:25am.
Schuylkill County Corner, Dr. David J. Moylan III pronounced them both dead at the scene. Dr. Moylan ruled the deaths as homicides.
In unsealed search warrants, A witness says he was parting with the victims and another man, when the man pulled out a gun and opened fire. According to those documents, the witness and a man are pointing fingers at each other for the shooting.
Nobody has been charged at this point. Angelito Caraballo was reported missing on Sunday, while Hunter Mock was reported missing on Monday.
Dr. David J. Moylan III said virtual autopsies were conducted at the scene on Tuesday. According to John Foy & Associates Personal Injury Law, a virtual autopsy is a procedure that avoids surgical dissection, by using augmented reality headsets and artificial intelligence to inspect the body through forensic imaging technology.
“This is a potential capital case” says Dr. David J. Moylan. The case is being investigated by Troop L major case team.
Student Zoey Frost told “head to picks United States”, “They were really good kids, and they had the biggest hearts, and they deserved so much more, so please help us make it right for them when they go to rest.” Angelito Caraballo attended Pottsville Area School District. The school district is offering counseling for the students.
