Stan Lee’s Death

Jon Winchell, Staff Writer

The co-creator of the Marvel universe has tragically passed away at 95 years old. He was born on December 28, 1922 and died on November 18, 2018.

In his early years, Stan entered into the United States Army in early 1942. He served as a member of the Signal Corps. He repaired telegraph poles and other equipment that was all used for communication.

After the war, he worked for Timely Comics. His editor, Martin Goodman, saw the success of the Flash and Justice League. He then assigned Lee to come up with a new superhero team. Lee was planning on changing his career, so he took advice from his wife and tried new things. He made heroes with flaws, imperfections and more human-like traits. They were an amazing success.

Just recently, Lee came down with a case of pneumonia. He was rushed from his estate to a nearby Hospital, where he tragically died. He will always be remembered for his comics and the cameos he played in every Marvel movie made.
