On Friday, Jan. 31, a medical jet crashed in a Philadelphia neighborhood.

The crash caused many injuries. 7 people died from this crash, including one person from the ground. 20 victims from the crash were treated for injuries. Multiple houses were caught on fire as a result of the crash.

This crash occurred at the Roosevelt Mall near Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue.

The jet was a Learjet 55. It was departing from a Northeast Philadelphia airport and was going to Springfield, Missouri.

Lily is 14 years old and a sophomore in high school. She grew up playing soccer and currently plays for the girls’ soccer team. Lily also enjoys going on vacations with her family and has recently traveled to Mexico and Virginia. She has been going to school in the Spring Grove Area School District her whole life. Lily spends a lot of time hanging out with her friends, often going to the movie theaters or browsing around Target. She loves listening to music on late-night drives and long road trips.
