Mrs. Krinock is a special education teacher here in Spring Grove Area High School. She started working as a special education teacher at the start of the 2020 school year, and was a ninth grade case manager for the first three years; she was then moved to 10th grade this year. Mrs. Krinock helps run the Diversity and Inclusion Club along with another special education teacher, Mrs.Walker. Mrs. Krinock lives locally in York PA, and she has two boys, the oldest being Elias, age 22, and Kohen age 17.
Some Interesting facts about Mrs. Krinock:
Earlier, she worked as a substitute teacher assistant at West York Elementary School. While working there, a director at Lincoln Intermediate suggested she worked as a para at the Spring Grove Area High School which she worked from 2013 to 2017. After working as a para for about five years, she discovered she wanted to look into being a special education teacher and enrolled in Middlefield University in 2015 to study and better educate herself to becoming a special education teacher. She got her Undergraduate degree in 2020 when she then enrolled in the Master of Special Education program at Millersville. She is taking her last course currently and is expected to graduate soon in December of 2023.
What does she enjoy about Teaching?
She really enjoys helping students achieve all their desired goals and expectations, and hypes them up in extracurricular activities. She especially enjoys working in the Diversity and Inclusion club, where she can connect with students inside the classroom and her colleagues inside and outside the classroom. Lastly, she enjoys summers off spend more time with family.
