The Late Late Show host James Corden leaving the late late show on April 27th, he has decided to spend time with his family back at home in London!

James Corden has been a host of the hit late-night talk show since March 23, 2015, with his first quest Tom Hanks and Mila Kunis! After eight seasons in December 2022 that April 27, 2023, would be his last day!

James decided it best to leave the show after a conversation with his then-ten-year-old son Max Corden. James said this on the Drew Berrymore show, “One day I was filming…I came downstairs, it was about 6 a.m. and my son…was sat on the stairs and he said, ‘Are you working today?’ and I said, ‘I am,’ and he said, ‘I thought, well it’s Sunday,’ and I said, ‘I know, buddy, but this schedule’s just all over the place. We just got to get it done because we only have a tiny amount of time before we have to go back and do the show,’ and his face just kind of dropped,” afterward Corden called his wife and decided that he needed to spend more time with his family while he can!

CBS has decided that instead of getting another host on the show after James leaves they will scrap it altogether, it will be replaced with Stephen Colbert’s reboot of “midnight”!

Some Fan Favorite segments on the show have been spill your guts or fill your guts which James and whatever celebrity is on the show that day go back and forth asking eachother questions and whoever does not answer has to let the other pick a disgusting food for them to eat such as bird saliva or salmon smoothie, or carpool karaoke where James is always late to work and needs a carpool buddy which is usually a singer and they sing the singer’s songs together and have fun adventures!
