Happy Holiday Inflation

Holiday Inflation

“Happy Holidays!” is heard everywhere. Music fills the air. Lights are but a sight and are
seen throughout the night. Though there is one thing about Christmas which everyone knows
but no one talks about. Holiday inflation.
Holiday inflation is real and a major thing. Prices of items skyrocket during the holidays
making it more difficult to buy more. According to CNBC this year prices went up 5.7%.
With COVID-19 still playing a role in our day to day life it still affects us after two years.
Leaving boats docked and unable to leave the harbor. No one wants to risk spreading the new
strain of COVID. With trading being delayed it allowed for inflation to go up more then usual
making prices even higher then expected. Leaving us all to have a very COVID Christmas.
