On Dec 10, 2018, there will be the third annual Polar Express Dinner at the Spring Grove Area High School for elementary and intermediate schoolers in the district. This night is supporting the Class of 2021 and the Class of 2022.

  The first part of the night, a pasta dinner, will be held in the cafeteria from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.. This first half of the night will require an RSVP for planning purposes. However, if you haven’t RSVP’d already, the opportunity to do so is no longer available. During this time, Santa will be available to take pictures with children.

  From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., The Polar Express will be playing in the auditorium. Anyone is welcome to show up without an RSVP to this second half of the night. Hot chocolate will be served and a Polar Express Train will be out for photos.

  Last year, this event went very well with a great turnout. Ms. Grant, the main planner of this night, says that she is most excited for the mood of the night because the kids are so excited and mesmerized by the overall experience that the night brings.
