The producers of the Minecraft movie include Jason Momoa and Tori Frans Ólafsson. The movie was also directed by Jared Hess, Jason Momoa, and Jack Black. Jason Momoa (played as Garrett) and Jack Black (played as Steve) played two main character roles in the movie. Jennifer Coolidge (played as Vice Principal Marlene) and Emma Myers (played as Natalie) were also involved with the production and direction of the movie.
The movie, titled “A Minecraft Movie”, is based on the video game Minecraft. Prior to the movie’s release everybody was talking about the new movie. Minecraft is a video game loved by kids across America. Even some adults enjoy playing Minecraft. With hit actors Jack Black, Jason Momoa, and Jennifer Coolidge starring in this movie it was bouncy to be a hit. Many influencers and celebrities are praising the movie’s silly, fast-paced nature. They believe this is a perfect PG movie for both kids and parents. Overall, the movie is a 4.3 out of 5 stars on the hit movie rating website IMDb.

NYU news describes the film as “woefully unsuccessful” in conveying its intended message about creativity. The Eagle Online mentions that while the film includes fun references it suffers from “subpar performances.”
