Imagine going to the doctor’s office, thinking it would be a normal day, a normal check-up. Imagine thinking that, and finding out you have cancer, that is what happened to Mrs. Ford. If you don’t know Mrs. Ford, she is a teacher here at Spring Grove Area High School.
That’s what people here know about her. But if you ask her family, then they will most likely say that she is a family person. She put her family first, over anything. When talking to Mrs.Ford, I found out that if she chose to pick her career or her children, she would choose her children. Well, she did. She was an accountant, but she found that it was taking away from her family, so she decided to move and became an accountant teacher to teach her students how to be accountants/and how not to scam. Mrs. Ford would do anything to talk to her grandparents again, but she wished she would have sat down and listened to their stories, life, and advice because they were so wise, but she felt that she was too busy to sit and just listen. But to make things a little less depressing, I also asked Mrs.Ford her most embarrassing moment during teaching, and she said during period 4, which is my accounting class, she had two different color shoes, and she didn’t realize until a student pointed it out. There was the same brand, just different colors and she got dressed in the dark, so that would probably explain it.
