Kendrick Lamar put on a very surprising Halftime show for the 2025 Super Bowl this year at the Caesar Superdome in New Orleans. He sang some of his new songs and had new voices and faces with him performing.
Dressed in a leather sports jacket with boot cut jeans and a backwards hat, 37 year old Grammy winning rapper Kendrick Lamar took the stage. He was introduced by Oscar-Nominated actor Samual L. Jackson who was dressed up as ‘Uncle Sam’ a fictional character during WWl and WWll. He was there during the whole performance to continue and introduced each segment of the show.
As the show went on Lamar was joined by his longtime collaborator and R&B singer SZA to deliver renditions of their songs “Luther” and “All the Stars”.
More surprise guests to make an appearance were Serena Williams, famous tennis player and Mustard, a record producer.
Fans are in a disagreement with whether or not this was the best or worst halftime performance yet. Lots of fans say if it weren’t for SZA it would have been bad, but she saved the show. Others say “Best halftime show ever…” .
One thing fans said the part they liked the most was the Grammy winning diss track on Drake “Not Like Us” Lamar was teasing throughout the whole performance and then finally sung at the end. It was a good attention getting and kept everyone in the stadium or everyone watching from their home on their toes.
