Released on Feb. 7, the Valentine’s Day horror movie Heart Eyes is a twisted rom-com that features a Heart-Eyed killer who murders couples on Valentine’s Day. This movie is rated-R and is considered an “American romantic comedy slasher film”. Directed by Josh Ruben and written by Phillip Murphy, Christopher Landon (who also produces), and Micheal Kennedy, it stars Olivia Holt, Mason Gooding, Gigi Zumbado and Michaela Watkins.
In recent years, a serial killer who is also known as the heart-eyes killer moves to different cities to murder couples on Valentine’s Day. This year, he moved to Seattle to kill couples again. Two Detectives pick up this serial killer’s case and attempt to catch the killer.
Heart Eyes was rated 3.3 overall, 6.6 on IMBd, and 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie had an 18 million dollar budget and has grossed 8.5 million dollars in sales.
