A new license is coming in 2025! Now it is not a topic that would be interesting to people but it is good to know what Pennsylvania is doing with our cars. According to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the new license plates will be showcased as the birthplace of Americans. It will have the Liberty Bell and at the bottom it will say, “Let Freedom Ring.” The reason why they are changing the plates is because they wanted to celebrate the state’s role in the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Now, if you are in the military, special organization, or the special fund will be updated with the new design. The new license plates will be coming/available in Spring of 2026. Now if you drive and want to get the new license plates or get an update, all you have is to sign up on Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) to find out when the plates are available.

Step 2: Click on the sign-up page for the new style plate
