Seven students at Spring Grove High School were asked what their top artist was for their Spotify Wrapped or Apple Replay of the year. The Spotify Wrapped came out December 4th at approximately 8 am EST and Apple Replay came out December 3rd.
2 students had Drake as their top artist. One of those students, Emma Hess, said that Drake has been her top artist for 2 years now. The other student, Reed Renfro, said that Drake has been on and off of his top artist but he’s always in the top 5. Another popular artist was Juice WRLD, junior Gracie Lehman said that he has been her top artist for two years but apparently she rarely listens to him. The last rap artist that was spoken about was Travis Scott, sophomore Maggie Wildasin said that Scott had been her number one artist for the past three years.
The three artists that are more on the subtle side were Taylor Swift, Benson Boone, and the band Metallica. Swift was Keira German’s top artist for the past three years, swift has been on the rise for the past two years with her concert ‘The Eras Tour’. Benson Boone was a top artist as well, but that person would like to be anonymous. And lastly is Metallica, Jackson Coulter is a big fan of hard rock music such as AC/DC and Metallica.
