The sun is shining, the breeze is blowing and the flags are high, that’s right,It’s that time of the quadrennial folks, it’s time for the United States 47 election. This year’s election was a wild ride so let’s get started.
In the beginning of this election we were able to see Robert Kennedy Jr. with running mate Nicole Shanahan as an independent candidate, Jill Stein with running mate Butch Ware for the Green Party, Chase Oliver with running mate Mike ter Matt for the Libertarian Party, Joe Biden with running mate current vice president Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump with running mate J.D Vance.
Since then Joe Biden retired from his campaign making Kamala Harris the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party with her running mate being Tim Waltz.
After President Biden retired from his campaign Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also dropped out stating “In my heart, I no longer believe that I have a realistic path of electoral victory “in the face of this relentless, systematic censorship and media control. So I cannot, in good conscience, ask my staff and volunteers to keep working their long hours, or ask my donors to keep giving when I cannot honestly tell them that I have a real path to the White House.” With this being said this didn’t leave without endorsing another candidate as Kennedy stated “ throw my support to President Trump”.
Throughout the election the polls remained almost evenly split amongst the swing states with all of the remaining around a 3% range from one another; yet Kamala appeared to have a lead. This made many predict a close election but it was far from it.
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 06:00 am the polls opened and after a day of uncertainty, former President Donald Trump won once more, this time obtaining all the swing states including typically blue PA, WI AND MI.
