On May 7th, 2024, Starbucks announced their new drink with boba!
This was a surprise to Starbucks consumers. The drink is called the Summer Skies drink; it’s a blue raspberry refresher with strawberry boba. You can purchase the drink with coconut milk, water, and lemonade which are the 3 main options, but if you wanted to try something new, apple juice is another option.
It’s a bit pricier than some other refreshers, the grande is $6.25. This drink is perfect for the summer time if you’re trying to cool off and want an interesting drink to sip on in the sun.
Everybody has different opinions on the taste, some say the coconut milk makes the drink taste like sunscreen and some say with lemonade it tastes like Hawaiian Punch.
