On May 1st, 2024 Kaycee Cook and Jazleni Madrigal asked students at Spring Grove High School about where they see themselves in 10 years. Many of the students were stunned when asked this question. They didn’t know how to answer it, and many of their responses were jokes. This may be because they might have a dream that they don’t want to share because they’re either shy to say, or feel as if they’re going to be judged by their peers. Now, here are some of the responses from the students. One student said “I see myself in my parents’ basement,” another student said “I actually don’t know where they see myself, I just want to be at a job that they like and pays good.” These two responses are completely different, but are fine as long as they’re happy. But no matter if these high school students know what they want to do after high school or not, they have a lot ahead of them.
