Many people have their own traditions or activities they do on Easter. March 31st, Easter, isn’t far away so I will be going over many of the things people do on this special day.
Lots of people go to churches on Easter for sunlight services or late night vigils. Most sunlight services happen in South America and they are held in churches cemeteries as a sign of recognition that Jesus no longer lay in the tomb on Easter morning. Late night vigils are very similar, celebrating Jesus Christs resurrection from the dead. Another tradition some people do on Easter is wearing a brand now outfit of clothes you never wore before to Easter dinner.
Fun Easter Activities
There are many fun things to do on Easter like planting a flower garden, making Easter crafts or baskets for your friends & family, go to an Easter parade, baking, decorating eggs, egg hunts or relays, and many more.
I asked some students what they do on Easter, almost every single person said they spend time with their families at their grandparents house for Easter dinner.
