Easter is celebrated all over the world. Although not every place celebrates the holiday. Places such as Japan, Israel, India, China, and Afghanistan don’t celebrate Easter. Easter is celebrated by Christians as the commemoration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection. The earliest known Easter celebration comes from the 2nd century. The common egg is because men would hide eggs for children and women to find in the 16th century. Eggs at Easter also represent new life and rebirth. I interviewed 2 students at SGAHS. I asked opinion based questions along with 2 questions relating to family traditions. Since Easter is the second best selling candy holiday I asked their opinion on the best and worst Easter candy. For the best Easter candy I received answers of, chocolate bunny and Cadbury eggs. For the worst candy, I got candy corn and 3 musketeers. Every family does different things for Easter. I asked what their family traditions were. I got egg hunts and Easter baskets, as answers. I proceeded to ask what their favorite part of Easter is as answers I got the food and candy.
