I walked into Mrs. Koblitz room for a chat and could already feel the comfort she gives off to people. The plants and her room set up immediately shows her vibe. She has a warmth to her that makes you feel like you already know her. Getting to know her more, she is from Long Island New York, so she’s more of a semi-loud but upfront, bubbly person. Mrs. Koblitz is a teacher here.
If you’ve ever wondered why she got into it, she actually took a class in high school that introduced teaching. She thought she would hate it but then she loved it. She said she’s never looking back and that’s why she is teaching.
One interesting fact about her is that she lived in England for 6 months and it was the best experience of her life by far. When she’s not teaching, she likes to visit new restaurants with her husband. She’s a foodie. She also likes to garden. Her mom has always gardened so she kind of got into it. Mrs. Koblitz prefers pretty things like gardening because it’s nature’s pure, natural beauty. She also has a big fear of whales. She worries that if a whale were to swallow her, she would just sit in the whale’s stomach while her body slowly disintegrates by its stomach acid. Over all, she is such a wonderful teacher and has made an impact on many lives. Her energy is sure to brighten anyone’s mood.
