On November 3, 2023 a group from Spring Grove Area Highschool’s Journalism class went to the Field of Screams in Lancaster, Pa. They had access to all of the attractions they had to offer, and one that was really popular was the Haunted Hayride.
The Haunted Hayride is a thrilling wagon ride throughout the cornfield. The ride takes you through 10 terrifying attractions during which six of them lock you in while the actors come out to give you quite the scare.
Once you enter the haunted hayride you are in for a ride. The first thing you see is a 20 foot pumpkin king there and then once the ride starts there is no going back now!
One high school student on the haunted hayride constantly screamed, “Shake your dreads!”
On the Field Of Scream website it says, “This haunted Hayride is unlike any other Haunted Attraction in the world and contains more hair-raising, jaw-dropping fright than ever before.”
New scares are added each year so you never know what is going to be there or what is going to happen. The horror ride is only a 20 minute scare.
