Is it too early for Christmas?
Many people have different views of when the right time to put your Christmas tree up is. After asking around at Spring Grove Area High School, we’ve got many different viewpoints from students and teachers.
Mr. Becker, a geometry teacher at Spring Grove high school said, “the middle of December”.
Mr Richards who is in charge of AVJ said, “before Christmas”.
Mr. Mundy, a guidance counselor says, “you have to wait till after thanksgiving to do that, like the day afterwards but you have to wait”.
Chayton states, “anytime you feel like it really”.
Nina said, “right now”.
Emily said, “honestly, right now. Always in the Christmas spirit, come on now.”
Laci says, “this weekend”.
Owen says, “the week after thanksgiving”.
Brady says, “right now.”
While many other students said the day after thanksgiving, nothing earlier, there are still some students that think November first is the perfect time to put up your tree. Opinions vary with this question. Putting up your Christmas tree all depends when you are ready to start feeling the Christmas spirit. Christmas is a way to spend time with your family and to celebrate the birth of Jesus, if you are religious. Although Thanksgiving is a holiday most people skip, many people will still put their trees up after Thanksgiving. Some choose to put it up before. Is November too early for your Christmas tree to be put up?
