Men’s soccer population is nearly 5 times larger than women’s soccer. Soccer is most popular in Europe, Central and South America, and Africa. Soccers popularity has definitely had a big increase in the past few centuries, but the time soccer was at its highest population was during the 2022 World Cup final between France and Argentina with 1.5 billion people watching. The time it was at its lowest population was in the 19th century when the game was just getting started. Ever since then, the rise has been increasing more and more.
