Ezekiel Elliott Kettle Jump

Running Back Ezekiel Elliott throws money in the Salvation Army kettle

Noah Keener, Sports Editor

Behind the end zone in AT&T stadium sits a Salvation Army kettle on every  Thanksgiving day game. Last year running back Ezekiel Elliott jumped into the kettle but got a penalty. This year he donated $21 dollars into the kettle and promised to match any donation of $21 dollars up to $21,000 dollars to the Salvation Army. Later in the game after Dallas scored again he picked up quarterback Dak Prescott and dumped him in the kettle. It was all fun and games for the Cowboys on Thanksgiving day as they beat the division rival Redskins to have possession of first place in the NFC East.
